On March 31, 2021, President Biden introduced his American Jobs Plan – the second phase of his ‘Build Back Better’ agenda. While the American Rescue Plan is changing the course of the pandemic and delivering relief for working families, this is no time to build back to the way things were.
On Thursday, March 11, 2021, the President signed into law: H.R. 1319, the “American Rescue Plan Act of 2021,” which provides additional relief to address the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, public health, State and local governments, individuals, and businesses. This new law is Phase 1 of President Biden’s Build Back Better Plan.
One of the last ‘acts’ that Mike DeWine did as Ohio Attorney General was to file a motion to dismiss the lawsuit that is in front of a three-judge panel in federal court in Cincinnati. DeWine continued his penchant for wasting Ohioans tax dollars. Fortunately, late today the same three-judge panel dismissed DeWine’s request. Thus, the lawsuit will continue as scheduled on March 4.
