Drewyor receives Auditor of State Award

7.01.2024 – Recently, the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District was awarded the Auditor of State Award for Fiscal Year 2023. Ms. Lori Brodie, Northwest Regional Liaison for Keith Faber, Ohio Auditor of State, presented the award to Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer Randy Drewyor and his staff. As the award notes: “The citizens you represent are well-served by your effective and accountable financial practices.”

According to the Ohio Auditor of State, less than 8% of all audited entities qualify for this recognition. Perrysburg Exempted Village School District has received the Auditor of State Award under the leadership of Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer Drewyor three times.

Over the last eight years, Drewyor has been a leader in public finance, serving as the CFO/Treasurer for three different public-school districts – including Huron School District. As the CFO/Treasurer of Perrysburg Exempted Village School District, Drewyor manages an annual budget of over $100 million.

Meet Randy

Randy is an experienced manager/leader with over 30 years in the private sector in various management and leadership positions in the pulp & paper industry, telecommunications, and small business owner. Over the last eight years Randy has been a leader in public finance, serving as the Treasurer/CFO of three different public-school districts. He currently services as the Treasurer/CFO of Perrysburg Exempted Village School District, managing an annual budget of over $100 million.

In addition to his professional experiences, Randy has a long track record of community service. He was elected to the Chillicothe City School District Board of Education in 2005 and was subsequently reelected twice. During that period, he also served on the Pickaway-Ross Career & Technical Center Board of Education.

Over the years, Randy has been actively involved in Boy Scouts, Jr. Achievement, youth sports, Big Brothers & Big Sisters and several other community service organizations. Randy is currently an active Rotarian as a member of the Perrysburg, Ohio Club.
